A coupled-inductor-based high step-up step-down DC-DC converter with bidirectional capability suitable for electric vehicle (EV) applications is proposed in this paper. The voltage gain both and operations increased by a two-winding coupled inductor. current ripple the low-voltage port low making it renewable energy sources. In addition, number of components causes efficiency to be competitive similar topologies literature. Due use only three switches stress, cost volume are reduced. To demonstrate performance converter, an analysis operation modes steady state presented. Also, comparison between suggested other converters literature provided. results these comparisons show that has lower higher than others. stress noticeable others further comparisons. Eventually, experimental operation, prototype tested under fs = 50 kHz, VLow 20 V, VHigh 110 rated power 120 W, 94.60% efficiency. Furthermore, considered 100 V 33 94.43% at W mode operation.
